Muscle Shoals documentary…

February 2014 sees the DVD release of the acclaimed documentary about the legendary Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, which had a theatrical release in 2013. The Muscle Shoals Horns and Rhythm Section features in two instrumental tracks on Adrian’s Songs album. It was Adrian’s admiration for the work of the singers and musicians of the Stax and Atlantic labels that led him to work at Muscle Shoals, and the tracks were laid down in Alabama in the same studio in which Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett and many other soul legends recorded.
