Angèle Dubeau, the Canadian violin virtuoso, has recorded Adrian’s The Distance Between for her new album, Blanc, which is released on the Analetka label and has just charted in Canada. The multiple-award-winning Dubeau, who created the all-female string ensemble La Pietà (which also plays on Blanc), is one of Canada’s leading classical performers. This consummate musician has sold over half a million albums, had 20 platinum albums and is one of the very few classical violinists in the world to have won gold records. She’s also been honoured with the Order of Canada.
